Foxhayes Garage has been serving drivers in and around Exeter since 1981. What started as a small family operation is now a business where three generations have built relationships and earned a reputation that keeps customers coming back, often without ever needing to look elsewhere.

Our team brings over 35 years of combined experience working on all makes and models, from everyday family cars to commercial vehicles. There are no gaps in capability here, whether you need a routine service, a clutch replacement, a timing belt, or a full diagnostic, we have the tools, training, and knowledge to do it properly.

We’re recognised for our work on clutches, timing belts, and wet belts in particular, and we invest in the kind of equipment that gets the job done accurately. That includes Bosch and Snap-on diagnostic systems, a 3D camera four-wheel alignment system, and a dedicated DPF cleaning and carbon clean machine.

Being independent doesn’t mean cutting corners. For vehicles within the manufacturer warranty period, we follow the full manufacturer service schedule and use genuine parts, so your warranty stays intact. Once your vehicle is out of warranty, we offer bespoke in-house service levels tailored to your car and how you use it.

We’re a Bosch Service centre and RAC Approved, and we work with Payment Assist to offer flexible payment options for larger repairs. A lot of our work comes through word of mouth because our team treats every customer fairly, explaining work clearly, and never recommending something that isn’t needed.

Well located and easy to visit

We’re conveniently situated close to Exeter city centre, with parking directly outside the garage. If you’d rather not wait, the city centre is an easy walk away, with plenty of shops and cafés nearby. There’s also a bus stop directly in front of us if you’re travelling by public transport. If you do choose to wait, we have a comfortable waiting room with free Wi-Fi.
